At work being bored. Sitting in the office being headwait, have nothing to do. Lol. My boss doesn't care that I'm surfing the net so I'm taking this time to update my LJ. :> Also listening to my launchcast radio. ^_^ Made $60 tonight in 3 hours. Not too bad. Jeremy and I have enough money to pay all of our bills for the rest of the month. rent isn't due til the 5th of September so we have nothing else to worry about. /cheer.

See title. I'm achey, my throat hurts, my eyes hurt. I have a trainer meeting that I *HAVE* to be at @ noon. Have to work tonight at 4 for Tegan since she switched shifts with me so I could be off yesterday to babysit. =( I didn't get to see my Meggie before she went back to baton rouge. *cry*
On a slightly happier note, my kitty is cute and sitting in my lap, purring.

It was almost Christmas time
There I stood in another line
Tryin to buy that last gift or two

Ooh, don't wanna go to work tonight....~_~ But I kinda have to since I spent all my money Christmas shopping, the latest of which includes $45 worth of candy at Sam's for stockings. Whoops. Worked all day yesterday and had this morning off. :) Have to go back at 5 though, and I'm not looking forward to it. Have to work all day tomorrow too. Then I get Christmas eve and christmas off. *bounce* Got Jeremy "Utterly Outrageous Drinking Games" to go in his stocking. If you've heard the "police at Chevron at 3:45 in the morning" story, then you understand the humor.
Got to see Rissa Tuesday. I haven't seen her since, like, April when I was still dating Isaac. I'm referring to that as my temporary insanity period. We went up to Ruby Tuesday's and split a blondie, which was really good and oddly appropriate. =P
Jeremy and I went to his friend's house last night and played Texas Hold Em, which was fun. Didn't win but whatever. Saw a girl that I went to elementary school with. Jeremy, being the great boyfriend that he is, stopped and got me midol at 3 am on his way home. I <3 Jeremy. :) Got up and actually cooked breakfast that was very very yummy...eggs, bacon and french toast. Am now very full and wanting to take a nap before stupid work.

11:41 pm - Christmas Party Fun

Went to Meggie's Christmas party tonight and got to see all the people that I haven't seen in forever...except Charles and Doss, I see them occassionally on campus. =P I promise that next time I see you guys it won't be more than 5 months. ~_~ So lets see...Thanks, Meggie and Sami, for my presents. :) Jeremy says to tell all of you happy holidays and that he's sorry he had to work. Sardines was fun and so was mafia...even though I was killed several times when I was innocent. =P /bonk Sami and Mary.
Have to get up extra early in the morning to get all dressy and go to some stupid sales thing at the Madison Park El Chico at 9:30. *makes a face* Not looking forward to that. And it's mandatory, so the only way I can get out of it is if I'm in the hospital dying or I'm already dead. Any suggestions? *hopeful smile*
Found out that the cat is afraid of my talking Care Bear and promised Jeremy that I would not take my stress balloon into our bedroom after he heard how Robert put a hole in the other one and the flour spilled out. I tried to tell him that I'm not as silly as Robert is but he wouldn't listen. And since it's *our* bedroom instead of *my* bedroom, I've decided to be nice and accomodate his request.
Oh, and Mary, I'm going to try to post something non-quiz-y every day or at least every other day so you won't feel like I've fallen off the face of the planet. Ok? =P

Dear Lord...Yesterday I had an adventure. Jeremy and I went out to eat with some of his friends after they got off work and finished the soccer game that they were playing. We went to IHOP and had fun. Afterwards, they wanted to go out, but I had to work a split the next day so I had Jeremy take me home first. His friend Jon promised to drive him home if they drank a lot. Ok. Got a call at 3:45 from a Bossier police officer saying that they had Jeremy down at the Chevron on Barksdale because he had been cussing and being obnoxious to the lady running the station, who had called them. Mom and I had to go down there to sign a release form and drive him and his car back to the house. I was soooo mad. But things are ok now and mostly I'm thankful that he didn't go to jail. ~_~; It's kinda funny looking back now.

OMG I'm alive! :) And at a computer that has a decent internet connection. I've been house-sitting and it's been kind of a drag. Having the house to myself = good, but no internet sucks. So hmm...what's been going on in the 6 or 7 months since I've posted. Well, financial aid got all screwed up and I missed the whole fall semester. Have to make up for that with spring and summer. *sigh* I've been waiting tables at El Chico on bert Kouns for about 5 weeks now and it's much better money than hostessing. ^_^ I've missed you guys bunches. Meg, I'll definitely be at the Xmas party...Jeremy probably won't be. He more than likely has to close that night. :(
Oh, yeah, Jeremy and I are back together. It'll be 4 years in March and we're just blocking out the 6 months that I was with Isaac. ~_~ Speaking of which, he's at basic, training for the marines. Mom's moving to Austin at the end of the school year. Jeremy and I are not going. We'll be getting an apartment in Orleans Square. :) Will be nice not having to share the house with my brothers anymore. Ok that's all I can think of right now. Maybe I'll have something else to write about soon. =P

5:26 pm - Need a Break!!!

OMG life sucks right now! I have had Christy's kids since Thursday night cause she (I thought) had to have surgery...turns out her BOYFRIEND was having surgery and she had to drive him home after he was released from the hospital. Which I can understand, but jeez! Leaving her children with me for 4 days while she sits around his house doing nothing??? Then on the way home from taking them to Monroe Saturday (BIG mistake) my left front tire blows and I have no tire iron or jack. Michael was with me and the kids and we had to get a ride from some little old mexican man. So now I have no car either. *sigh* Thank god I'm leaving to go to Washington tomorrow to see Jeremy graduate...a change of scenery will do me good.
Oh, and now dad says I'm being "snotty" and I need to change my attitude. *roll eyes* He's such a f'in moron. I really can't stand him atm.
And Ris, I'm so sorry that i didn't call, it completely slipped my mind. =(
